A new night train is operating between the Polish city of Przemyśl and Frankfurt am Main in Germany since August 1.
The service is run in partnership by Spanish railway company Renfe and Ukrainian railway company Ukrzaliznytsia.
The route makes stops in key European cities, including Krakow, Prague and Dresden.
GoVolta eyes three international routes
Dutch private operator GoVolta plans to introduce three new cross-border services. The proposals include services from The Hague to Cologne and Luxembourg, as well as a high-speed Amsterdam-Paris service.
The rail operator plans to connect The Hague and Cologne with three return journeys per day. Two trains will operate daily, while a third will run on weekdays, with a journey time of around three hours 50 minutes.
Plans for The Hague-Luxembourg service include a twice-daily service with one train continuing to Strasbourg on weekdays.
