Two new ferries for UK-Spain routes

Brittany Ferries has chartered two new cruise-ferries for its long-haul UK-Spain route.
The first ship is due to be operational for the 2021 holiday season. The charter comes after the company began construction of a new liquefied natural gas ferry, Honfleur, earlier this year, which will serve the Portsmouth-Caen crossing.
The three ships comprise a R6,6bn fleet renewal and modernisation programme by Brittany Ferries, which, it said, confirmed its commitment to its Spanish routes.
