Lufthansa cabin crew union, UFO, is planning a further strike following the third unsuccessful round of talks on January 16.

The union will announce more details on Wednesday, January 22, a UFO spokesman told Reuters.

Lufthansa says the refusal of the UFO to reach a solution is disappointing and prevents “the associated peace in the interests of our 22,000 employees,” but it continues to promote mediation and arbitration.

A 48-hour strike in November affected all Lufthansa departures from Germany.
