Virgin Atlantic is allowing travellers flying to or from Antigua, Havana, Miami and Orlando until September 17 to rebook or re-route their flight at a later date.
Customers who are currently in Orlando and scheduled to fly on either September 10 or 11 are encouraged to amend their return flights to earlier dates, either September 8 or 9.
The following connecting destinations included in the rebooking policy: Daytona Beach (DAB), Fort, Lauderdale (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW), Fort Walton Beach (VPS), Freeport (FPO), Gainesville (GNV), Georgetown (GGT), Jacksonville (JAX), Key West, FL (EYW), Melbourne (MLB), Nassau (NAS), Panama City (ECP), Pensacola (PNS), Sarasota (SRQ), Tallahassee (TLH), Tampa/St. Petes/Clearwater (TPA), West Palm Beach (PBI).
The following flights have been cancelled (as of 10h00 on September 8.)
• Saturday 9 September: flight numbers VS27, VS15, VS73, VS75, VS71, VS72, VS74, VS33
• Sunday 10 September: flight numbers VS27, VS75, VS71, VS16, VS28, VS76
