On September 1, Air Asia X suspended flights between Kuala Lumpur and Nairobi.
According to the airline, the decision comes as part of its network optimisation initiative due to lower-than-expected travel demand on the route.
“We continue to review our network and consumer demand and will make adjustments from time to time to ensure commercial viability and best value fares for our guests across our network.
“If we witness strong demand to return on this route, we will review the potential again.”
