Air Botswana has implemented a temporary fuel surcharge on all tickets issued from April 21. Tickets issued before April 21 are not affected.
The surcharge applies to domestic and regional flights. It is reflected separately on the ticket for transparency and applies per flight sector.
“Over recent months, we have been carefully managing the impact of rising aviation fuel costs across the region, including adjusting our operations where possible. Following a recent notification of increased fuel prices locally, this adjustment has now become necessary,” said the airline.
