Air Mauritius has announced it has moved terminals at Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris. The airline moved from Terminal 2F to Terminal 2E on September 17. Terminal 2F will now be entirely dedicated to Schengen flights.
Terminal 2E has three zones for boarding and disembarking: Gates K (K21 to K54), gates L (L21 to L53) and gates M (M21 to M50). Zones for check-in and passport control have also been reorganised for better efficiency.
Air Mauritius passengers will have easier access to PARAFE (for fast automatic passport control) as well as all the other infrastructures of Terminal 2E. PARAFE, translated from French means Automated Fast Track Crossing at External Borders and is expected to cut down on queues at passport control. Other infrastructures in Terminal 2E include the new facilities of Satellite 4; a commercial area of nearly 6,000 square metres offering all the well-known brands as well as a state of the art boarding hall.
