Airlink ups CPT flights to Nelspruit

AIRLINK will add a
second flight between
Cape Town and
Nelspruit from July 22,
operating every day except
Saturdays.
The flight will depart Cape
Town International at 15h00
and arrive in Nelspruit Kruger
Mpumalanga International
Airport (KMIA) at 17h15. The
return flight departs KMIA at
17h35 and arrives in Cape
Town at 20h00.
According to Airlink ceo,
Rodger Foster, the second
flight was added due to
customer demand and
impressive capacity on the
single flight frequency. The
route will be serviced by a
37-seat Embraer ERJ135.
“Airlink’s customers on
the route include business
travellers – particularly
civil servants – as well as
international inbound tourists
visiting the Cape and the
Lowveld. It is also popular
with those visiting the Kruger
National Park and private
game lodges,” says Rodger.
He adds that the airline now
operates up to 13 flights a day
to this region, providing access
from Johannesburg, Durban
and Cape Town with direct
regional flights departing to
Livingstone and Vilanculos.
He says there are other
destinations from Cape Town
on Airlink’s radar, with some
launching during the course
of 2017 with dates to be
announced in due course.
