GOMO Gomo Game Lodge, situated on the Northern Province's Timbavati Private Game Reserve, will step into the 21st century by acquiring an electricity supply line to the lodge and its five chalets at the end of September.
The lodge will also have concluded its extensive renovations - which include a total refurbishment of the bathrooms and the chalets, which are being fitted with lights, plugs and electric fans - by then.
Director of marketing for Gomo Gomo, Hennie van Deventer, reports that the 16-seater breakfast and lunch lapa has been completed.
"The new thatched lapa features its own viewing deck which overlooks the Nhlaralume river and is shaded by century-old leadwood and wild mango trees."
