THE three-star Mercure Inn - owned by French hotel group Accor - will officially open to its first guests in October, reports project manager Leon Bezuidenhout.
According to him, the 104-room hotel's main focus will be the business traveller, although its location at one of Johannesburg's Big Five tourist destinations - the Randburg Waterfront - will result in a spin-off from the leisure market.
"The construction is progressing well and we are pleased that we're still on track for our initial opening date."
