APG South Africa has been appointed local GSA for Air Europa as the airline prepares to launch Johannesburg-Madrid flights on June 24.
APG will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities in South Africa including ticket sales and providing local travel trade support and assistance. Fares are currently available across all major GDS platforms in South Africa on the UX inventory code.
Air Europa will launch three weekly flights between Madrid and Johannesburg on June 24.
Flights will depart Johannesburg at 18h55 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive in Madrid at 05h05 the following day. The return flight will depart Madrid on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 23h45 and arrive in Johannesburg at 09h50 the following day.
The new route will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, offering both economy class and lie-flat seats in business class.
