Asata responds to IOL letter

An open letter published on the IOL site, calling travel agents’ refund policy ‘absurd’, sparked outrage in the industry (reported by Travel News last week). Now IOL has published a response from Asata, written by Asata president, Dinesh Naidoo.

Dinesh cleared up the main misconception in the original letter. He said agents did not hold on to clients’ money and any payments for third-party services were passed on to the supplier. Read the full letter here.
