Eight people were killed and at least 11 more injured In New York on Wednesday after man in a rented pickup truck drove down a busy bicycle path, CCN reported.
According to the report, the attack took place near the World Trade Center Tuesday in Manhattan. The suspect has been identified as an Uzbekistan national who had been living in the US since 2010.
The attack comes shortly after the United States put additional security measures in place for all flights entering the US.
