Australia confirms quarantine fees

Australia’s 14-day quarantine fees, payable by travellers, are as follows, according to the APAC Visa and Immigration Services at SIRVA Relocation.

Single adults are charged AUD3 000 (R36 566) for New South Wales and South Australia quarantines. Additional adults in quarantine are charged

AUD1 000 (R12 192) while children over three years old are charged AUD500 (R6 092).

Quarantine in Western Australia for one adult costs AUD2 520 (R30 708); two adults travelling together are charged AUD3 360 (R40 940) and the charge for a family of four is AUD5 040
(R61 407).

Queensland charges one adult in quarantine AUD 2 800 (R34 115); two adults, AUD4 710 (R57 386) and the cost for two adults and two children is AUD4 620 (R56 290).

Charges for one adult in the Northern Territory is AUD2 500 (R30 336) while the family quarantine rate is AUD5 000 (R60 916).

The Australian High Commission recommends that travellers visit www.smartraveller.gov.au for up-to-date information on Australian travel information.
