Bushfires across Australia continue to affect air quality, road access and flight operations.
The New South Wales Rural Fire Service reported 136 fires that continue to burn across the state, 69 of which are uncontained.
Nearly 100 roads have been closed in parts of both New South Wales and Victoria that are affected by the fires.
The latest update from the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office warns travellers to expect poor air quality near the sites of the fires, causing respiratory conditions.
The national flag carrier, Qantas Airways, had to cancel all flights to and from Canberra on Sunday due to hazardous flying conditions, according to CNN.
Tourist attractions, including the national parks on Kangaroo Island, have been closed until further notice due to the impact of the widespread fires.
The official website for Tourism Australia says many areas remain unaffected and most tourism businesses are still open but travellers coming to Australia are encouraged to seek the most up-to-date information prior to departure.
