British Airways has announced that the price of booking partner award seats through the Executive Club will be increased.
From May 30, Avios prices on reward flights with the following partner airlines will increase by as much as 4%: Alaska Airlines, Air Italy, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Japan Airlines, LATAM, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, S7, Sri Lankan and Royal Jordanian Airlines. Only changes or new bookings made after May 30 will be affected.
There will be no change to Avios prices for reward flights and upgrades with British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia or Vueling. The Avios prices for other services are also unaffected, including hotels and car hire and there will be no change to the number of Avios awarded when passengers fly with BA or any of its partner airlines.
