United Airlines has expanded its MileagePlus Miles Pooling feature to now include more than 40 partner airlines, including Airlink, SAA, Ethiopian Airlines and EgyptAir, allowing members to combine miles with families and friends and redeem them across a wider network of carriers.
MileagePlus members have long been able to redeem miles on partner airlines. However, pooled miles can now also be used for partner airline awards. Previously, miles combined through the Miles Pooling feature could only be redeemed for flights operated by United and United Express.
