British Airways has partnered with virtual reality eyewear specialists, SkyLights, to create VR headsets for passengers on selected flights.
From now until the end of the year, passengers travelling on selected flights in first class from Heathrow to JFK, New York, will be able to enjoy a selection of entertainment options in 2D, 3D or 360° formats.
The headsets will also feature therapeutic programmes, including guided meditation and sound therapy.
Earlier in the year, the airline trialled the technology at Heathrow, allowing passengers a glimpse of the business-class Club World cabin through virtual reality.
