The Blue Train is to resume full operations this month, after a temporary shutdown in December, and a partial offering in January.
“We are happy that, as the year begins, we are back on track, offering the best of African luxury rail experience,” said Lekhetho Mokoena, operations manager of The Blue Train.
In line with the most recent regulations, the serving of alcoholic beverages on board the train has resumed. “This is a welcome development as the beverage offering on The Blue Train is a key part of the experience,” said Lekhetho.
This year The Blue Train will be adding to the annual itinerary, allowing guests more flexibility when selecting travel dates. The updated schedule is available HERE.
