Breaking news: Iberia to cut Johannesburg-Madrid route

Iberia has announced that, from September, it will cut its Johannesburg route. The last flight will operate on August 31. The airline says the route is not profitable.

Iberia has said passengers already booked will have the option of a refund or a re-routing on British Airways or other partner airlines.

This is a developing story. For more on this, see next week’s issue of TNW.
