Sub-zero temperatures and storms across the US are affecting flights on January 6.
Delta Air Lines has warned of problems caused by the winter weather, with affected areas listed as:
• Illinois
• Kentucky
• Indiana
• Michigan
• Missouri
• Ohio
• Minnesota
• North Dakota
• South Dakota
• Wisconsin
It is offering to waive administrative change fees and allow travel agents to rebook, within a set of guidelines, which can be found here.
US Airways has also offered travellers a chance to change ticket dates free of charge.
Travellers are urged to check flight statuses and contact airlines to keep up to date with affected flights.
