British Airways and Royal Air Maroc have signed a codeshare agreement that will give BA passengers new routes across Morocco, and more flight flexibility between London Heathrow and Marrakesh.
This is BA’s first African codeshare partner, and will also give passengers access to Royal Air Maroc’s hub in Casablanca.
BA will now offer connecting flights from Casablanca to other Royal Air Maroc destinations, including Abidjan in the Ivory Coast, Freetown in Sierra Leone and Agadir in Morocco.
Royal Air Maroc passengers will benefit from additional destinations across the UK.
Codeshare flights begin operating on February 20 before Royal Air Maroc officially joins the oneworld alliance on April 1.
