The new Phnom Penh Techo International Airport (KTI) officially opened on September 9 welcoming its first scheduled flights.
Several airlines have moved their operations to the new airport, including Qatar, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific.
“Starting September 9, 2025, all flights to and from Phnom Penh International Airport (PHN), Cambodia, will operate at the newly built Techo International Airport,” said Qatar Airways.
Singapore Airlines said its three daily flights would now operate between Singapore and the new airport, with no changes to flight numbers or timings.
Cathay Pacific flight schedules at the new airport remain unchanged until further notice.
The airport features three runways and a terminal with 20 boarding gates and 32 air bridges.
By the end of phase one in September, the airport is expected to handle 13 million passengers annually. Phase two will accommodate 30 million passengers and 50 million passengers in phase three.
