Celebrity River Cruises has introduced an extensive destination discovery programme for river cruises launching in 2027 and 2028.
The experiences will be available across all 2027 and 2028 Celebrity River Cruises itineraries, as well as pre- and post-cruise stays in Prague, Budapest and Amsterdam.
The programme will feature four experience categories:
Storyteller Series: Offers experiences led by residents, artists, and cultural insiders from each destination. For example, in Amsterdam a canal captain will show guests the city’s iconic waterways, and in Prague, guests will learn the city’s brewing traditions from a local brewer.
Skillmaster Series: A hands-on experience that allows guests to actively participate in local culture. In Budapest a local Mamika (grandmother) will teach generations-old Hungarian recipes and in Amsterdam, a local artist will lead a painting class inspired by Van Gogh.
Keys to the City Series: Guests are given a tech-driven way to explore ports of call on their own through an innovative digital platform. They can access interactive maps, audio guides and video content tailored to specific interests such as art, history, food, and architecture.
Celebrity Takeover Series: Bespoke experiences once per sailing transform must-see European attractions and unassuming plazas into elevated private events.
Passengers can extend their journey with multi-day pre- and post-cruise stays available in Prague and Budapest in 2027 and Amsterdam in 2028. Each stay includes small-group tours with local hosts, premium hotel accommodations, dedicated concierge service for dining reservations and private experiences.
