Celebrity relaunches Solstice

Celebrity Cruises saw its upgraded Celebrity Solstice set sail from Singapore on March 2.

New experiences

The Solstice has debuted four spaces that are new to the Celebrity experience: a top-deck outdoor destination, Sunset Park; a new dining experience, Trattoria Rossa; and new entertainment options, The Parlor and Boulevard Lounge.

Sunset Park features activities such as yoga, lawn games and live music. New private cabanas offer shaded space to relax.

The new Sunset Park café offers casual bistro dining for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast menu includes an assortment of sandwiches, quiches, pastries and other morning favourites, while lunch features fresh salads and wraps, as well as charcuterie boards available throughout the day. An expanded Sunset Bar offers handcrafted cocktails.

Trattoria Rossa serves Roman and Southern Italian cuisine. The restaurant menu features seafood, classic meat dishes and handmade pasta dishes, as well as tableside preparations that include Chicken Parmesan and Caesar Salad.

The Parlor, the ship’s new sports and gaming lounge, offers games such as billiards, darts, board games and big screens for sports spectators. The venue offers gametime refreshments such as signature cocktails, wines and whiskies, and snacks, desserts and milkshakes.

The Boulevard Lounge is a new 125-seat venue that showcases all-day entertainment programmes, including piano bar sing-alongs, karaoke and live game shows.

Stateroom upgrades

All existing staterooms on Celebrity Solstice have been fully upgraded and 54 new staterooms have been added, seeing the ship’s capacity increase to 1 479 cabins.

Guests can also discover four new stateroom categories: the Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite, two Panoramic Ocean View Suite categories and the Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View.

Additionally, guests of Celebrity’s exclusive suite-class, The Retreat, will find a brand-new sundeck with a hot tub, dedicated outdoor seating and a redesigned private lounge.

Guests residing in AquaClass staterooms, Celebrity's wellness-focused accommodations, will be offered refreshed spa-inspired amenities, including massaging shower heads, aromatherapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats, premium robes and slippers, and a pillow menu.
