CemAir and Proflight Zambia have implemented an interline and codeshare

agreement, streamlining travel between South Africa and Zambia.

The agreement combines the two carriers’ route networks between and within South Africa

and Zambia, providing customers with a seamless travel experience. Certain flights will carry

both airlines’ flight numbers.

The initiative will enable travel on a single ticket, with seamless baggage connections, between the two airlines’ 15 destinations. Johannesburg, Cape Town, George and other CemAir desinations will connect with Proflight Zambia’s routes between Lusaka, Ndola, Livingstone, Mfuwe and Solwezi.

Miles van der Molen, CemAir CEO, said the codeshare agreement was the logical next step in CemAir’s long partnership with Proflight. “This will give convenience and value to

customers linking businesses and people in Zambia and South Africa. The two airlines have collaborated for several years and we look forward to offering customers more value and convenience with this agreement.”
