Changi adds bamboo garden

Changi Airport has opened a bamboo garden along the Changi Airport Connector – home to Jurassic Mile, the Jurassic Bark Dog Run, and the Butterfly Trail.

The Bamboo Grove is inspired by Kyoto’s famed Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and is the first outdoor bamboo garden in an airport. Spread across 526sqm, the open-air garden is home to five bamboo species from across Asia.

The Grove is free and open 24 hours a day. It is designed for travellers looking to relax before a flight as well as cyclists and joggers.

It is accessible on foot or bicycle via the Park Connector Network, and is a short walk from the Hub & Spoke Café near Changi Airport Terminal 2.
