China halves quarantine

China has cut the mandatory quarantine period for all international arrivals from 14 days to seven, effective immediately, according to health authorities.

The change came in the latest guidelines released by the National Health Commission.

After the week spent in a facility, arrivals must continue to isolate in a home or hotel for three days, down from the previous seven.
