Comair allows more tech time

Passengers on British Airways (operated by Comair) will now be able to use portable electronic devices across the whole journey within Southern Africa.

Devices include tablets, smartphones, MP3 players, electronic toys and smart watches.

Previously, passengers had to turn off and stow all electronic devices during taxi, take-off and landing.

Last week, kulula.com, another Comair subsidiary, also announced that the use of portable electronic devices was permitted across passengers’ entire journey.
