Comair bring back stranded pax from Mauritius

Following its announcement to suspend all flights to Mauritius, Comair was granted permission to ferry an empty aircraft on March 21 to fetch stranded travellers.

BA6398 departed Mauritius at 16h10 and arrived in Johannesburg at 18h40.

The decision to suspend the operations came after Mauritius banned all incoming foreign flights for 14 days, effective from March 19.
