Dec launch for ET DBN route

Ethiopian Airlines will launch a new daily non-stop service between Durban and Addis Ababa from December 11.

The service will be operated by a Boeing 737 MAX, with bookings now open.

The route will connect Durban directly with Ethiopian Airlines’ Addis Ababa hub, providing onward connections across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America. Key one-stop destinations include London, Paris, Frankfurt, Mumbai, Delhi and Washington.

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Musa Zondi, said: “The launch of the Durban-Addis Ababa route marks a major milestone for KwaZulu-Natal and reinforces our position as a key gateway into Africa.”
