Oneworld launches multi-carrier check-in

Oneworld has rolled out a simplified digital check-in process across all member airlines, making multi-carrier journeys easier to manage.

Passengers can scan their passports, receive boarding passes for each flight and save them to their digital wallets through their preferred airline’s app, regardless of which alliance carrier operates the first flight.

The technology allows different airlines’ systems to communicate through a shared digital platform, enabling passengers to proceed directly to bag-drop or security without visiting a check-in desk.

Future enhancements will include check-in for codeshare itineraries and dynamic boarding passes with real-time updates.
