DXB launches baggage delivery service

Dubai International Airport has launched a baggage delivery service, allowing travellers to skip baggage claim and have their bags delivered straight to their hotel within hours of landing.

Passengers can also check in their baggage remotely without having to queue to drop it off and pick up a boarding pass.

A check-in agent issues boarding passes and picks up luggage, which is securely transferred to and from the airport, according to Timeout Dubai.

The service, powered by baggage logistics company DUBZ and operated by Marhaba, also includes short- and long-term baggage storage and secure same-day delivery anywhere in the UAE. The entire service can be booked online or accessed at dedicated points in Dubai.
