Egypt has lifted all COVID-19-related entry restrictions for all international arrivals, according to a statement from Nader Saad, Egyptian Cabinet spokesperson. The government made the decision due to the drop in cases of COVID-19 in Egypt and abroad.
The statement also said that 800 DNA reagents had been distributed by the Egyptian health ministry to detect possible cases of monkeypox, and that strict measures were being taken to ensure veterinary quarantine for any animals coming from abroad to guard against the virus.
