Emirates has unveiled its new livery on one of its Airbus A380s.
The UAE flag on the tailfin has a three-dimensional effect, the wingtips have been painted red with a white Emirates logo in Arabic calligraphy, and the UAE flag colours have been painted on the wingtips facing the fuselage.
The gold Emirates lettering across the main body in English and Arabic is now bolder and larger. The red branding on the aircraft’s belly, introduced in 2005, has been retained and the website URL has been removed from the design.
The new livery’s first deployment will be to Munich on March 17 with flight EK51. It will then be gradually applied across the rest of the airline’s existing fleet. All new Emirates aircraft, from the first Airbus A350 entering the fleet in August 2024, will be delivered with the new livery.
