Enhanced Business Travel Account launched

Nedbank has partnered with American Express to launch an enhanced Business Travel Account supported by BTAPowerlinkSM – a secure online tool that aims to deliver corporate travel efficiency.

The enhanced Business Travel Account (BTA) offers a competitive solution as well as increased flexibility and benefits for both the corporate and the travel agent through a range of features including:

• Centrally managed account: Companies can benefit from the services and support of their designated travel agent to manage all aspects of their business travel needs;
• Online access of consolidated invoice data: Companies can now access consolidated charge and travel data online, thus supporting all their account reconciliation needs.  The system lets users download Excel and PDF versions of their reports and statement data, allowing companies to easily benchmark existing travel costs online,
• Reduced Administration – BTAPowerlink provides invoice data from the Travel Management Companies (TMCs), meaning that clients will no longer have to manually reconcile the invoice to statement charges. This will save them valuable time as BTAPowerlink has made the reconciliation process simpler and faster, freeing companies to focus on other areas of their businesses;
• Management Information: Companies can access consolidated Management Information (MI) and report directly from the BTAPowerlink portal to address their data needs.

BTAPowerlink is engineered to help TMCsreconcile their corporate clients’ travel spend more easily and quickly, allowing for more efficiency and operational cost savings.

The BTAPowerlink online system is now available free of charge to all new and existing American Express Business Travel Account clients who book their travel spend through a BTAPowerlink-enabled TMC.
