Ethiopian Airlines will continue to fly to China despite the World Health Organization declaring the coronavirus a public health emergency of international concern.
In a statement, the airline said it was working with all relevant Chinese and Ethiopian authorities to protect passengers and crew from the virus.
“We are operating our regular flights to all our five gateways in China – Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Hong Kong – with the usual supply and demand adjustment that we always make during the Chinese New Year Holidays,” said a statement from the airline.
This comes after several airlines have suspended their flights to China.
