Exclusively Hotels launches new ‘agent-friendly’ website

EXCLUSIVELY Hotels will launch a new-look website within the next three weeks to respond to increased demand from travel agents and to continue its online product growth strategy, the hospitality company has said.

“The site www.exclusivelyhotels.com is now regularly used by over 20 000 travel agents worldwide, and to serve a growing number of business partners, the company has worked to introduce a new platform and switched to 24/7 response in its contact centre,” says sales director, Max Yousaf.

Added to the online product selection comes airport transfers, cruise port transfers and more hotel inventory, seeing an increase of 15% in hotel stock.
“Improved functionality will deliver significantly faster search results and the introduction of better filtering options will allow agents to drill down the wide availability on the site to their own shortlist based on criteria including property ‘type’, especially useful if customers are specifically looking for a boutique hotel or family-friendly property,” Max says.

The company has also introduced short guides to key destinations written by staff at the resort. This gives up-to-the-minute expert advice and tips for agents to use when discussing travel options with their customers.

The site switchover coincides with the implementation of a new technology platform, which also addresses the development of Exclusively Hotels’ XML-API feed, enabling significant growth through integration into agents’ own technology systems.

“As a company, our growth has bucked all industry trends through our ability to react and build for the future. Our international distribution strategy continues to grow, with us expanding further into South Africa, South America and North America, and we are now well placed to cope with increased site traffic and new connections linking directly to our inventory,” Max says.
