Explora takes delivery of Explora III

Explora Journeys has taken delivery of its third ship, Explora III, marking the halfway point in the cruise line’s planned six-ship fleet.

Extended by 19,2 metres, Explora III is the most spacious ship in the fleet, while welcoming a similar number of guests as sister ships Explora I and Explora II

The ship features three new dining concepts: The Cellar, which offers an intimate wine experience; The Chef's Table, an exclusive private dining venue; and Shore Club on 11, a beach club-style restaurant.

Other additions include a second Owner’s Residence, an expanded collection of Ocean Penthouses and Ocean Residences, and reimagined Ocean Wellness facilities.

On August 3, Explora III will depart Barcelona on a seven-night maiden journey to Lisbon, with the inaugural season spanning northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland and North America. In 2027, the ship will begin Explora Journeys’ debut Alaska season.

The cruise line’s expansion will continue in 2028 with the debut of Explora V in Asia.
