Fastjet has announced a new ‘Junior Explorer’ unaccompanied minor service, effective March 29. The service is for children flying alone on any direct fastjet flight and is mandatory for children aged from 5-12.
A non-refundable fee must be paid per booked flight for the service, once the booking has been approved by fastjet. This is in addition to other fees and charges that may apply.
Bookings cannot be confirmed online but must be made by contacting fastjet trade support. Unaccompanied minor bookings must be confirmed three days before the travel date.
