Fastjet offers sustainable sipping

A GREENER journey is now available on fastjet with the introduction of environmentally friendly cups on its regional flights. The new ‘green’ cups will be used for the service of hot and cold in-flight beverages. Made from non- plastic materials, the new beverage containers feature Zimbabwean motifs. More than an environmental contribution, as Zimbabwe is a key player in the tourism industry, the cups are a celebration of the beauty and wonders of the country, says fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson Nunurai Ndawana. “We are proud to operate regional flights to beautiful Zimbabwe, connecting visitors to Bulawayo, Harare and Victoria Falls.” Sustainability “Together with our partners, we continue to focus on building a sustainable airline. The introduction of our new environmentally friendly cups reflects our commitment to preserving the environment in which we operate,” says Donahue Cortes, Business CEO and Country Head. “Each cup carries a famous quote that suitably describes Zimbabwe, a country of vast beauty that is a must-visit for all. As fastjet Zimbabwe, we are delighted to fly you to these breathtaking landscapes,” says Cortes. Fastjet operates within Southern Africa and is a regional driver of tourism and corporate travel. The airline connects three major cities in Zimbabwe – from Harare to Victoria Falls, Harare to Bulawayo and Bulawayo to Victoria Falls. It also offers international flights from Victoria Falls, Harare and Bulawayo to Johannesburg. An additional South African destination is Victoria Falls to Mbombela (Kruger) Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, route.
