Fastjet Zim – more flexibility

Fastjet Zimbabwe has announced its innovative Flexi-Go options for travellers, which apply to all fare options from March 3.

The new product gives customers three options for changing their bookings, across all fastjet routes, both domestic and international.

GoEarlier lets customers change their booking to a standby ticket for an earlier flight, on the same route and same day.

GoLater is for customers holding a paid reservation but who missed their flight and want to change their No-Show booking to a standby ticket for another flight within 72 hours.

Finally, GoFirm applies to customers with a paid reservation but who missed their flight, and who want to change their No-Show booking to a confirmed flight for a future travel date. This change must be done within three days of the original date of travel.

Both GoEarlier and GoLater allow only for changes made by the customer, whereas GoFirm allows for changes by the travel agent. In this case, agents processing the change through the GDS must adhere to the Flexi-Go Policy, which permits a rebooking in the same booking class, subject to availability. If this is not adhered to, fastjet reserves the right to issue an ADM.
