FCM Connect launches

FCM Travel Solutions, a
division of Flight Centre
Travel Group, has launched
a next-generation technology
suite, FCM Connect.
The interface offers a
single sign-on connection
point allowing users to
access multiple tools
and resources from pretrip
approvals to online
booking, traveller tracking
and reporting. It can be
accessed via PC, tablet
or mobile device and
can be personalised with
information for use by
travel bookers, managers or
travellers.
The interface was
previewed earlier this year
at the London Business
Travel Show and Global
Business Travel Association
Conference in Sydney before
being launched globally in
September.
HUB, the central portal
that agents log in to for
the FCM Connect system,
connects the user to
eight integrated new FCMowned
technology tools,
including an automated
travel approval suite and
a powerful online booking
tool with a speed booking
function for recurring flight
and hotel bookings.
There is also a travel risk
management system, an
expense claim tool and
analytics and reporting
tools. Other elements
include a customised profile
tool and a mobile tool
that gives travellers quick
access to their booking
status, online check-in and
trip tools such as maps,
weather and destination
guides.
