FLIGHT Centre South Africa will once again host the Travel Expo following the inaugural event’s success last year.
The two-day expo is set to take place from October 22-23 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg and will see travel specialists come together under one roof to exhibit their latest products and exclusive offers.
Flight Centre South Africa's general manager for product and marketing, Liane Cowan, said the weekend would be a fantastic opportunity for bargain hunters to lock away a great deal.
"Last year we had over 4 500 visitors to our Travel Expo and 80 top-notch suppliers offering a huge selection of great value travel deals, including discounted airfares, accommodation packages, unique coach tours and new cruise itineraries. And this year will be even bigger" said Cowan.
"We also gave away travel prizes to the value of R200 000. This year bargain hunters can expect to save hundreds of rands off the total cost of their trip if they book on the day as well as get valuable advice from industry experts."
Experienced travel consultants from Flight Centre, Student Flights, Travel Associates, Discount Cruises and Corporate Traveller will be on hand to offer travel tips and make 'on-the-day' bookings.
The expo will be open from 09h00-17h00 over the two days.
