Cedar Fair, an entertainment company, has signed hotel services agreements with a Hyatt affiliate for a dual-branded Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotel on the site of the Canada Wonderland amusement park near Toronto in Vaughan, Ontario, set to open in 2020.
Located 24km from Toronto Pearson International Airport, the eight-storey hotel will offer 203 rooms, which include guestrooms and apartment-style suites for park guests, business and tourism travellers.
The property will feature amenities such as free WiFi throughout the hotel, an indoor pool, 24-hour fitness centre, coffee and cocktail bar, casual dining options, business centre, flexible meeting and event spaces, and an outdoor sun deck.
