Zambia is pushing ahead with infrastructural developments, in anticipation of the August 24-29 United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) General Assembly.
Developments include new roads, an intercity bus terminus, upgrades to the curio market and facilities at the Victoria Falls Zambia entrance, a modern market and a new terminal at Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone.
Livingstone Tourism Association chairperson, Active Monze, says the tourist hub will never be the same after hosting the UNWTO General Assembly as it has brought with it such significant expansion.
Livingstone will also host the second Zambia International Investment Forum later this year, with the objective to promote and showcase investment opportunities in the country.
