KLM partners with rail

KLM will replace one of its daily flights between Brussels and Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam with a rail service from March 29, 2020.

Partnering with railway operators Thalys and NS Dutch Railways, the airline aims to gradually reduce the number of flights between the two destinations.

According to a statement released by the airline, KLM is in favour of replacing short-haul flights with rail services, “as long as trains fully match the speed, reliability and comfort that air travel offers”.
