The Knysna Oyster Festival, set to take place from June 26 to July 5, has been postponed until 2021.
The annual festival, which is popular with domestic travellers, includes activities such as cycling, running, arts and crafts, and culinary experiences.
Visit Knysna gm, Colleen Durant, said: “For those who have already booked to attend this year’s programme, we encourage you to postpone your trip to 2021 when we will reconvene the festivities.”
The team leader of each event would be in touch with the relevant stakeholders, sponsors and participants to communicate the way forward, and then confirm dates for next year’s event once they had been finalised, the organisers said in a statement.
