The latest in rich content

THE latest release of Travelport’s

commerce platform, Travelport

Smartpoint 6.0, has been launched,

providing travel consultants with further

capabilities to advise their customers

about the entire range of products,

optional services and offers available

from airlines that Travelport distributes,

with fully interactive, graphical screen

displays and real time booking.

Smartpoint 6.0 is available either as

a download to Travelport’s desktop app

or an automated upgrade for those

using its web browser version. Travel

agents can access an airline’s branded

fares and ancillaries at the availability,

fare quote and fare shop stages of

the booking process, providing a new

level of product insight and information

at more of the key stages in the

customer buying experience, says

Travelport.

Further enhancements also include

reducing the number of clicks required

to access important information and

the ability for agents to book and pay

for the portfolio of LCCs Travelport

has integrated into its platform, using

debit cards (in addition to credit cards)

within the same booking workflow
