Lufthansa has announced plans to equip its entire fleet of around 850 aircraft, as well as all new aircraft, with high-speed broadband Internet access by Starlink.
The service will be free of charge for status customers and Travel ID users across all classes. Passengers will have access to state-of-the-art broadband Internet that will enable streaming, cloud-based working and other high-speed applications.
The airline says it will begin rolling out the service in the second half of this year, with the entire fleet expected to be fully equipped by 2029.
